The BayREN ePermit Tool is a free, online tool that provides information and building permit forms to homeowners and contractors for three of the most common types of home projects: replacing a hot water heater, replacing or adding new windows, and replacing all or part of a roof. The ePermit Tool is intended to:
- Make the permit process easier;
- Help building department staff by providing online resources for the public; and
- Improve energy code compliance.
